1. You never mentioned the fund which gives such poor return.If you do it so other IFA"s will be aware of such schemes.
2. Better to fix the Financial goals before starting sip.Ex. childrens education,marriage,corpus creation for SWP. etc.,
3. LONG TERM as far as i am concern let it be more than 8 years.
4. Better to recommend well diversified equity funds , multicaps,
5. First Educated the customer and make them to understand why we are advising to be for long term. {power of compounding,RPA. etc.,}
6. For education planning17- Age , marriage planning (female 23- Age) (male 27 - Age) ,Retirement prefered age - age.
